This unique item is a green glass carafe made for chilling and pouring your wine. It has an opening at the top for pouring your wine into the carafe, along with a cork to close it off. It has an opening on the side where you can access an oblong chamber that protrudes into the interior of the carafe; fill this chamber with ice and close it off with attached cork, and it will chill your wine without ice melt watering it down. The carafe also has a pour spout for dispensing your wine. The piece measures approximately 13" high, with a base diameter of approximately 6". It has a narrower neck with a 1" opening at top, and a narrow pour spout. The ice chamber opening is approximately 1.75" and the chamber is approximately 4.5" deep. There is a small chip on the tip of the pour spout. The decorative fringe on the top stopper has become somewhat brittle and breakage of some strands can occur with handling.
